Position Title: Senior Programming Analyst - Data Warehousing

Nash Finch Company Edina, MN Duties: Responsible for developing and documenting standards and procedures to implement data modeling and ETL processes in enterprise data warehouse environment. Specific job duties include: (1) converting business requirements to logical model and performing model walk-through; (2) assisting data architects in strategic initiatives and providing ETL support of in-flight data and integration projects for data warehouse team; (3) defining and designing end-to-end interfaces covering legacy, EAI, and package applications; (4) developing end-to-end technical specifications and unit and system/integration plans; and (5) designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs. Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related; two years of professional IT experience, including specific experience in Ascential DataStage, Cognos, and relational database design/modeling for DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server; and knowledge of retail industry.
